This course develops practical communication skills, with special emphasis on speaking and listening but also including reading and writing. By learning and practicing a new language in imaginative and structured lessons, you achieve greater fluency and accuracy in English. Grammar, vocabulary and colloquial English are covered systematically. Learning and progress is purposeful with clear learning outcomes assessed through speaking and writing tasks. Guidance and support is given, together with correction and further practice.

		Social English for everyday life Focusing on spoken communication through discussions, role plays, conversations and the presentation of ideas. Depending on the level, classes are based on functional, situational or tropical language.
		English for work and business Focusing on English for international business communication. Classes include language for marketing, management, financial services and human resources as well as spoken English skills for meetings, negotiations and presentations.
		Academic English to prepare for university Focusing on reading and writing skills for academic study, note-taking and summarizing skills, debating techniques, carrying out research and presenting data.
		Culture, Arts and Media Developing fluency with language input related to cultural and artistic interests, contemporary life, and media with activities in and outside the classroom.
